Early Intervention Program

While all children develop and grow differently, some children may need a little extra help with walking, talking, playing, and growing. Our Early Intervention (EI) Program provides eligible infants, toddlers, and their families with therapeutic and support services. These services are available for families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays1. Schuyler County Public Health helps families coordinate the care they need for their child. Through family support and coordination of care, infants and toddlers in the community can get the services they need to develop and grow to their fullest potential.

Services for EI may include:

  • Speech therapy
  • Physical therapy
  • Occupational therapy
  • Special education
  • Service coordination

Our program is provided at no cost to the family.
